Web-based English Language Learning: A Review from Web 1.0 to Web 3.0

Since the internet network's establishment, World Wide Web is considered as most important tool used by billions of people across world. It allows to share media, read, write, publish and interact with others via internet. its advent, has evolved from a read-only medium technological network collaborative one where learners are interlinked in various ways. Through stages evolution, English language learning was transformed simple an interactive, collaborative, learner-centered environment. This paper will present conceptual review literature, chronological order, on how over past years, particularly web 1.0 3.0. also aims analysis evolution (www) technologies learner perspective; therefore, it elucidate web-based tools, technologies, trends, applications their education.
